Do not feed to cattle or other ruminant animals.
Tips on changing foods
Victor Extruded Advantage Horse Feed is designed to supplement good quality grass hay. Horses should be offered hay free choice and should consume a minimum of 1% of their body weight daily. It is recommended that you feed your horse nothing other than water and good quality hay for a minimum of 24 hours before introducing this food. This ensures the intestine is completely void of undigested starch from a previous food. Feed according to the recommendations below. Split total daily feed amount into two or more equal feedings. Keep salt and a good quality free choice mineral available to horses as well as a fresh supply of water at all times.
Victor Extruded Advantage is based on premium quality fiber sources as well as wholesome grains, all of which are highly palatable to horses. There is no need to add any type of flavors to enhance palatability. Extruded products have a very different texture, much like that of breakfast cereal. Most horses will immediately start eating this feed, while others may take a few days to become accustomed to the different texture, especially when moved from a sweet textured feed.
