Feeding Guidelines

FEEDING KITTENS

Kittens may start to nibble moistened cat food between 3-4 weeks of age. Moisten at a ratio of 3 parts food to 1 part liquid. Do not leave moistened food out for more than 30 minutes. Kittens will be fully weaned from milk by 8 weeks of age and after weaning will eat dry or moistened food at will.

PREGNANCY AND NURSING

Energy requirements continually change for cats who are pregnant or nursing. During this time, your cat may require up to four times the recommended daily feeding amount. For nursing females, keep food available at all times as their daily energy requirements to produce milk are very high.

Tips on Changing Foods

Gradually replace your current food with the new VICTOR formula, increasing the percentage of the mix to 100% within 7-10 days.  We recommend taking your cat to the Veterinarian 1-2 times per year for “Health” checkups.

Keep fresh water available at all times.
