In the last few months since updating our website, we noticed quite a few little problems scattered throughout the site. We also noticed that the number of visitors jumped dramatically. As we started updating the site and fixing the issues, more things started popping up. In the end, we wanted to provide a great website that flowed easier and was easier to navigate. In order to do that, we started over…

You can provide your dogs with the nutrition they need from any of the VICTOR formulas. You just need to consider the amount of calories they require and base the amount you feed them accordingly. Every VICTOR formula has the calories per cup shown on the bag and our website which will equip you with the info to make a better determination for how much to feed. The suggested feeding is based on a normally active dog at a given weight. Even active dogs will likely need to be fed more than the amount shown on the bag. Less active dogs will be fed a little less than what is on the bag. Hope this helps you! You can call our product support team at 1-888-428-7544 for a personal conversation.

      All the Best,
      The VICTOR Team

Like the website, Friends. Please tell me if Mers comes in a formula for kitties with urinary tract issues. Our angel may be on UT formula for the rest of her life, and we HATE Purina and Science Diet and Mars, Inc. and all those pet food manufacturers who really don’t care about our pets. I really don’t want to support them.

VICTOR formulas are designed as a well-rounded pet food with many great nutritional benefits that rival those of other brands. VICTOR has not come out with prescriptive formulas directed towards animals with specific health conditions. We hear from many loyal VICTOR brand users who have shared with us how they are impressed with our food and how many of their pet’s issues have cleared up. We believe that the foundation for good health starts with a solid nutrition. We appreciate your interest and hope to hear that you find the results you were looking for.

      All the Best,
      The VICTOR Team

Our new lab pup came with victor hi pro in blue bag. Is this formula for better growth? We are retired and not very active. The puppy is a Porsche and we are more the bicycle type. We want him to have the best to get big and healthy but was wondering if there was a formula that was just as good but would make him a little calmer. We are full of scratches and scabs.

VICTOR formulas do help puppies to reach their potential for what abilities they came with naturally. The old saying applies, you act the way you feel. We are glad your pup feels great, but sympathize with your predicament. Hang in there and best wishes.

What is the difference between your two super premium Yukon salmon choices?

    • VICTOR TEAM MEMBER May 12, 2017 at 3:29 pm - Reply

VICTOR offers 2 fish protein based formulas. 1. VICTOR YUKON RIVER CANINE which has Salmon as the primary meat protein and is a grain free option formula. 2. VICTOR OCEAN FISH which has Menhaden Fish Meal as the primary meat protein and is grain inclusive. There is a higher protein percentage in YUKON RIVER CANINE 33% than is in OCEAN FISH 25%. YUKON RIVER CANINE also has 3% higher fat than in OCEAN FISH formula.

I was so happy to see that a farm supply store near me (Brandon Miss.) is carrying Victor. I have been feeding another quality food but I have to practically beg my 90 pound GSD to eat it! Or at least enough of it to maintain his proper weight and energy level. He is in training for scent detection and blood trailing and I know the importance of keeping him fit.
Victor came highly recommended by a very well known dog trainer.
I’m going to get mine today!

We have a four month old Chocolate Lab and have just switched to your Active Dog & Puppy food because his stool was very loose. In only a few days his stool is better already. One question we have is as Labs are prone to hip issues and lower Calcium content is better for them but it ilisted in your analysis. Other foods have 1 to 1.6. What is the content in this food?

    • VICTOR TEAM MEMBER August 16, 2017 at 3:32 pm - Reply

The content of calcium is available to view on every formula page under the General Analysis tab.

Is the new “plastic” packaging recyclable??

    • VICTOR TEAM MEMBER October 10, 2017 at 3:42 pm - Reply

      Hello Marcy,

      Great question.
It has a recycle code of 7 being a mixed material. It is layered with poly material and mylar foil.

Hi, I’ve been feeding my GSD the Chicken Grain-Free Dry Dog Food. She has always been a fussy eater. She seems to have grown tired of this flavor, which flavor would you recommend to try next? Thanks, Sherry
